1.1 These Terms govern every purchase made via our online shop between Lei & Lu Elegance s.r.o., Bidovce 316, 044 45 Bidovce, Slovak Republic (the “Seller”, “we”, “us”) and any purchaser (the “Customer”, “you”).
1.2 Unless mandatory provisions of your domicile state provide otherwise, the contract is governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic; the U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) does not apply.

3 Products and Bespoke Design Service
3.1 We hand‑craft gold jewellery, including custom‑made pieces (“Custom Goods”) typically priced between EUR 500 and EUR 5 000.
3.2 Illustrations are indicative; reasonable deviations inherent in artisanal manufacture do not constitute lack of conformity.
4 Ordering Process & Contract Conclusion
The shop interface guides you through: (a) add items to cart (b) choose shipping (c) enter data (d) review summary (e) press “Place Order – Obligation to Pay”. The contract is concluded once we send an Order Confirmation or dispatch the goods. We store the contract text for five years and will e‑mail it to you on request.
5 Prices, Currency & Taxes
5.1 All prices are in euros (EUR) and include Slovak VAT.
5.2 Where the OSS regime applies, VAT is charged at the rate valid in your EU Member State.
5.3 For deliveries outside the EU you act as importer of record and bear any customs duties and taxes.
6 Payment Methods & Retention of Title
6.1 We accept secure card payments through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay). No surcharge applies.
6.2 Your card is charged upon Order Confirmation.
6.3 Goods remain our property until paid in full (§ 601 et seq. Slovak Civil Code).
7 Production & Dispatch Times
7.1 Standard lead time for Custom Goods is 2–4 weeks from full payment and final design approval.
7.2 In‑stock items ship within 3 business days.
7.3 If we cannot honour an indicated deadline we will promptly inform you; you may accept the new date or cancel the order.
8 Delivery, Shipping & Risk Transfer
8.1 We dispatch exclusively by insured GLS courier service and provide a tracking number.
8.2 Shipping charges, if any, are displayed during checkout; orders totalling EUR 5 000 or more are delivered free of charge.
8.3 Risk of accidental loss transfers to the Consumer when the parcel is delivered to you or a person authorised by you (§ 588 Civil Code). Shipments exceeding EUR 2 000 require an adult signature.
9 Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
9.1 No withdrawal right for Custom Goods pursuant to Art. 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU and § 7(6)(c) Act 102/2014 Coll.
9.2 For non‑customised goods you may withdraw within 14 days without giving any reason. Use the model form in Annex 1 or send an unequivocal statement.
9.3 We reimburse you within 14 days of your withdrawal notice, but not before goods are returned or you prove their dispatch; you bear return postage.
9.4 You are liable only for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature and characteristics of the goods.
10 Legal Guarantee of Conformity
Consumers enjoy a 24‑month legal guarantee from delivery; you may request repair or replacement, or – if impossible or disproportionate – price reduction or termination of the contract.
11 Commercial Warranty
We additionally provide free lifetime cleaning & inspection of jewellery purchased from us; details accompany each piece. This commercial warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
12 Liability
12.1 We are liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health and under the Product Liability Act.
12.2 For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual duties and limited to foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.
13 Personal Data Protection & Marketing Consent
13.1 We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Slovak Act 18/2018 Coll.; details are set out in our Privacy Policy.
13.2 By purchasing goods you agree that we may use your e‑mail address to send personalised marketing communications (newsletters, special offers). You may withdraw this consent at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
14 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
14.1 These Terms are governed by Slovak law.
14.2 For Consumer disputes, jurisdiction is determined by Regulation (EU) 1215/2012 (Brussels I recast). Business Customers agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Košice, Slovak Republic.
15 Final Provisions
15.1 Should any provision be invalid, statutory law shall apply in its place; the remainder remains effective.
15.2 We may amend these Terms from time to time; the version posted on the website at the time of ordering applies.
15.3 These Terms are archived in PDF format and provided to consumers upon request.
